    Terms of Use

    1. Acceptance of Terms

    By accessing or using www.BrandonLT.com (the "Site") or any service offered by Brandon Legal Tech LLC ("Brandon Legal Tech," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or our services.

    2. Services

    Brandon Legal Tech provides court reporting, videography, transcription, trial presentation, video conferencing, and related litigation-support services. Specific terms, deliverables, turnaround times, and fees for any engagement are set out in the applicable order confirmation, quote, or invoice.

    3. Permitted Use of the Site

    • You may use the Site for your own internal, lawful business purposes.
    • You may not interfere with the Site, attempt to access non-public areas, or use it to violate any law or third-party right.
    • You may not scrape, mirror, or reproduce material from the Site without our prior written consent.

    4. Account Credentials

    Access to the secure online repository, scheduling portal, and admin areas requires a username and password. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

    5. Transcripts, Video & Exhibits

    Certified transcripts and finalized video files are released after invoices for the relevant job have been paid in full unless otherwise agreed in writing. Rough drafts and unsynced media are provided for working purposes and may not be filed, published, or quoted as official records.

    6. Cancellation & Late-Notice Fees

    Cancellations made less than 24 business hours before a scheduled job may be subject to a late-cancellation fee. Specific fees are stated in your order confirmation or quote.

    7. Payment Terms

    Invoices are due on receipt unless otherwise agreed. Past-due balances may accrue interest at the maximum rate permitted by law. You agree to reimburse reasonable collection costs and attorneys' fees incurred to collect amounts owed.

    8. Confidentiality

    We treat matter-related information you provide as confidential and limit access to personnel who need it to perform the requested services. See our Privacy Policy for details.

    9. Intellectual Property

    The Site, its design, text, graphics, logos, and software are owned by Brandon Legal Tech or its licensors and are protected by U.S. and international copyright and trademark laws. "Brandon Legal Tech" and the Brandon Legal Tech logo are trademarks of Brandon Legal Tech LLC.

    10. Disclaimers

    The Site and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing on the Site constitutes legal advice.

    11. Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brandon Legal Tech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of your use of the Site or our services. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to a specific engagement shall not exceed the amount paid to us for that engagement.

    12. Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Brandon Legal Tech and its personnel from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.

    13. Governing Law & Venue

    These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The exclusive venue for any dispute is the state and federal courts located in Hartford County, Connecticut.

    14. Changes to These Terms

    We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the Terms were last revised. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
